HELLO GRAND PARENT is an entity of SO2 that designs products and services made for seniors mainly by putting them in contact with dedicated young people to stimulate their everyday life.
These General Terms and Conditions of Use (“GTU”) govern the use of HELLO GRAND PARENT’s products and services, on-line platform(s), mobile applications, services.
The provisions of these GTU shall also govern all updates and/or upgrades of the Software (as defined below) provided by HELLO GRAND PARENT, which might replace and/or add to the Software version currently in use when these GTU come into force, unless such updates and/or upgrades are subject to a separate licensing agreement.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
If you have an account and you log in to this site, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is discarded when you close your browser.

Who we share your data with
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
What rights you have over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

Governing law and jurisdiction
The execution, validity, interpretation, performance and termination of the Agreement are governed exclusively by the laws of Paris (FRANCE).
In the event of any dispute between the Parties arising out of or in connection with the formation, the interpretation, the performance or the termination of this Agreement (the “Dispute”), the Parties shall attempt, promptly, in good faith and before any judicial action, to resolve amicably the dispute though alternative dispute resolution.
To the extent permitted by applicable law, failing to reach an amicable settlement within a reasonable period of time, any Dispute shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [PARIS- FRANCE].
Users within the European Union
The User located within the European Union is informed and aware that he/she may try to settle the Dispute out-of-court using an alternative dispute resolution procedure in accordance with the provisions of Directive 2013/11/UE of the European parliament and of the council of the 21 may 2013 on alternative dispute resolution for Consumer disputes and the Regulation (EU) N°524/2013 of the European Parliament and of the council of 21 May 2013 on online dispute resolution for Consumer disputes.
With regards to the Dispute, the User may also submit its complaint via the Online Dispute Resolution platform http://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/
Failing an amicable settlement, the Dispute shall be submitted by the first Party to take action to the competent, jurisdiction set forth above.
